I went to Seattle last year for a whirlwind 50th birthday experience and I have to say it is a beautiful city. However, I’m disheartened to see the upheaval on the news. But I’m also nostalgic now that we’ve been grounded in BC since the pandemic prevented the option of world travel in March.
One of the highlights was our tour of the Chihuly Garden & Glass exhibit. I love a good art gallery tour and this one was exceptional. My husband and I still can’t figure out how they transport these exceptional works of art worldwide with shattering the glass pieces.
This particular shot was inside the building. A life-size boat installation–stunning!

Peace to everyone in Seattle and around the world struggling for civil rights.
Chihuly is always interesting to look at.
