The time has come, my fellow bloggers and readers, to stop and smell the flowers. And listen to the birds and the bees; smell the flowers on the breeze.
My poem for Summer!
It has been a strange but activity-filled spring. Instead of the usual much-anticipated trips to Vancouver Island, I’ve completed countless projects at home to avoid any chances of catching the COVID-19 virus. I miss my friends and changing scenery, but my home and outdoor living space look spectacular!
More to the point, I’ve decided to take the summer off from my website for various reasons. Slogging away trying to come up with new ideas and photos (and bring it all together in a meaningful way) takes its toll on the brain cells. And time…
I’ve also been struggling with ongoing health issues that need to be addressed. I’ve been putting off getting help, but am done with feeling tired most of the time.
With a huge garden requiring constant care and eventual harvesting, along with my paid blog work deadlines, something has to give.
Nonetheless, Summer flies by quickly. I’ll be back in September, energized by a vast increase in organic, homegrown veggies, sunshine, and ready to get back in the WordPress game.
Cheers to you my fellow readers and writers–your support is appreciated every day!
Have a glorious Summer, brimming with more of the things you adore.
